Why is it ok to require insurance for cars but not for people?

nevercapitalize: Because you’re liable to commit vehicular manslaughter but you can’t give another person cancer.

lvlewitinn: Because cars don’t sit around all day watching TV, eating processed foods, and doing no exercizee.
